We’re in Cashville |

So we’re down here in Nashville for the weekend, and I see Johnny Cash’s face everywhere. The entire town is in Cash-in mode (pun intended) now that he’s dead. It upsets me a bit, but I realize that he doesn’t care.

I saw Johnny and June play live once in Atlanta, and it was magical. He’s been my hero since I was sixteen listening to Folsom Prison on a $10 second hand record player. Idon’t own a lot of vinyl, but I’ve got two copies of Folsom. “Grey Stone Chapel,” oh man, brother.

And it makes me cry with joy to think that I’m going to meet him someday.
